9:18 pm - Sunrise!

Sunrise on 28th May 2006 over Colchester

View from the 11th floor kitchen

Well, obviously the one the right above is not from the 11th floor!

The sunrise cast a lovely pink glow on me otherwise drab brown Rayleigh Tower (sori bout the shaky pic - it was cold!) and a lovely reflection on the lake

Back on the 11th floor again!

10:46 pm - Sushi Party!

We started preparing at about 6 pm!

Jackie was the main cook - and she showed us all how it was done!

My finished product!

Everyone had their turn and we all tucked in.

After that, we celebrated the birthdays of Ghisseh, Sachin and Michelle with a nice cake and some illegal candles!

6:34 pm - Makan time!

Indian rice? Green beans, ginger raisin rice and chicken tikka masala!
The discovery of the papadoms was brilliant - altho it was really expensive! Since then, i've found a place which sells cheaper ones! I miss the free flowing papadoms back home...

Was quite proud that i made some pretty good "siew yoke" - altho i can get the skin to be crispy enough. Any advice?

Ayam masak madu - all from a pack, tho!

Kurma chicken! :-P~
